Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep is an organization that comes to the aid of families in an hour of need and grief that is unbearable. When a family suffers a loss of a newborn or still birth, a photographer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep is called to the hospital to photograph that precious little one. In many instances, these are the only pictures taken so they are priceless to the families. It brings me great honor to serve these families and I am humbled to be called upon to immortalize these little angels. To find out more or to donate to this organization please click below and you will be redirected to the national website. "You make a living by what you get, you make a life by what you GIVE" by Winston Churchill...... Flowers of Love is a service project after my own heart. Founded by a wedding coordinator in San Francisco, we are happy to be participating this year in this wonderful community service and grass roots project. This is how it works... A couple decides that they would like to donate their flowers (table center pieces, alter flowers, bouquets) to Flowers of Love. We arrange and schedule a pick up of the flower arrangements from the venue site after the reception. The next day, the flowers are distributed around the community to retirement homes, senior centers, homeless and women's shelters. Not only do you get to enjoy your beautiful flowers on your wedding day, but for days after they will bring joy and sunshine to those community program members. If you are interested in finding out more or if you are interested in participating in the program, please contact me to schedule your event date and get on the schedule for pick up.
Operation Love supports U.S. Military families by offering special sessions with a patriotic edge during their enlistment, focusing on deployments– before and more importantly, after a soldier's return at their families' reunion. When the deployment has ended and the soldier is safely home or even at the airport, Operation Love Reunited is there to capture the families' first greeting.
Images for a Cure is an annual event promoting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, our beneficiary charity. The event normally takes place during the fall (usually October, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month). Each photography studio is unique, and encouraged to set their own session dates, plans and pricing. However, they each agree to donate 100% of their session fees for that day to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation via our First Giving page. Some photographers may open 1 session, while others may open 5 – so be sure to check with your photographer about their availability and what is included in your session. When you schedule your session with a participating photographer, you should be directed back to this website to make your donation. Upon receipt of your confirmation email, you should forward it to your photographer to confirm your session time. All session fees must be paid within 24 hours of booking your session, in order to be fair to others who wish to participate. That’s all there is to it! You have your session and enjoy beautiful images from your photographer, all while giving back to a great organization!
